The preparation for the 12th edition of IPL (Indian Premier League) is in full swing. The IPL Auction took place yesterday and a total of 60 players have been sold and the total money spent is INR 1,06,80,00,000.

40 Indians and 20 overseas players have been sold so far at the VIVO IPL Auction 2019.

Here is a look at Top Buys of IPL Auction

Jaydev Unadkhat is the top buy among Indian players. He was purchased for a whopping 11 Crore by Rajasthan Royals in the previous season. However, RR released him this year and purchased him back for an INR 8.4 Crore.

Varun Chakaravarthy is the latest IPL millionaire. He has been purchased for a humungous INR 8.4 Crore by Kings XI Punjab. He is a mystery spinner from Tamil Nadu.

20 years old England cricketer Sam Curran made the headlines following his remarkable contribution in Test matches vs India this year. There was no surprise that he is going to be one of the Top Buys of IPL Auction. He has been purchased for INR 7.2 Crore by Kings XI Punjab.

South African Cricketer Colin Ingram is one of the Top Buys at IPL Auction. He is been purchased by Delhi Capitals for INR 6.4 Crore. He is a left-handed batsman.

Carlos Brathwaite was released from Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, he found his new home in Kolkata Knight Riders. He has been purchased for INR 5 Crore.

Axar Patel was released from Kings XI Punjab. However, his former team fought hard at Auction to get him back but Delhi Capitals won the race. He has been purchased for INR 5 Crore by DC.

Mohit Sharma returns to his home. He initiated his cricket journey with CSK and later joined KXIP. This year CSK bought him for INR 5 Crore and he is back with MS Dhoni.

Shivam Dube is a hard-hitting all-rounder batsman from Mumbai. He has been purchased for INR 5 Crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Veteran Mohammad Shami will play for Kings XI Punjab. He is been purchased for INR 4.8 Crore.

17 years old wicket-keeper batsman from Punjab Prabhsimran Singh has been purchased for INR 4.8 Crore by Kings XI Punjab.

Destructive left-handed batsman Shimron Hetmyer made all the news for his big hitting in Windies tour of Indian 2018. He has been purchased by RCB for INR 4.20 Crore.

Yuvraj Singh remained unsold in the first round. However, Mumbai Indians bought him for his base price of 1 Crore.
