Tiger Zinda Hai Remains Strong Despite New Releases, Collects 325 Crore

Salman Khan’s Christmas release Tiger Zinda Hai has grossed over 325 Crore to be his highest grossing film. Tiger Zinda Hai (325* Crore) has replaced Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320 Crore) to emerge Khan’s highest grossing Bollywood film.

The Action thriller movie collected 206.04 Crore in the First Week, 85-51 Crore in Second Week, 27.31 Crore in Third Week and 6.85 Crore on Fourth Weekend. The movie has remained strong on Weekend despite new releases such as 1921, Kaalakaandi and Mukkabaaz. The movie has collected 325.71 Crore at the domestic box office and grossed over 500 Crore at the International Box Office. Tiger Zinda Hai might end with a lifetime collection of 330-335 Crore.

It is also the highest-grossing film of Katrina Kaif beating Dhoom 3 (280 Crore). Director Ali Abbas Zafar has become first ever Indian Filmmaker with two 300 Crore films (consecutive, Sultan & Tiger Zinda Hai). This is also the third entry of Salman Khan in colossal 300 Crore Club, most by any Indian Actor. His 300 Crore films are Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320 Crore) Sultan (300 Crore) & Tiger Zinda Hai (325 Crore). Following him is Aamir Khan who has two entries in 300 Crore Club, Dangal (385 Crore) & PK (340 Crore).

Tiger Zinda Hai is made on a budget of 150 Crore and no wonder the movie has performed according to the producer (Yash Raj Film)’s expectations. It is the highest grossing film for YRF replacing Sultan.
