The three leading superstars of Indian Cinema who have a massive fan base in Asia have indisputably entertained the audience since three decades. The three Khan’s of Bollywood, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan are far ahead of any Actor in terms of fan following, Global Personality and of course the box office numbers.

It will be a bombshell for the entire nation if the Khan trio comes together for a mutual project anytime soon. But till then here is a look at their individual highest grossing films.

Aamir Khan-Dangal

Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan proved that he is the existent king of Box office when a simple biography movie like Dangal crosses 300 Crore in just a couple of days. His last release Dangal (2016) is his highest grossing film with a lifetime collection of 387 Crore (India). Dangal is the second highest grossing movie of all time. Dangal has also touched the 2000 Crore mark at the International Box office.

Salman Khan-Tiger Zinda Hai

There is a reason why Salman Khan is called the Tiger of the Bollywood. Following the Tubelight failure, everyone criticized him but he remained quiet and retorted with the huge success of Tiger Zinda Hai. With a collection of 328* Crore, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) is the highest grossing film of Salman Khan. The movie is still running in theatres and it is predicted to gross over 340 Crore (India). The movie has crossed over 500 Crore at the international box office. This is also the highest grossing film of Director (Ali Abbas Zafar), Lead Actress (Katrina Kaif) and Producer (Aditya Chopra, Yash Raj Films).

Shahrukh Khan-Chennai Express

Rohit Shetty’s directional Chennai Express (2013) is the highest grossing film of Shahrukh Khan. The movie stands with a lifetime collection of 227 Crore. Unfortunately, SRK has no movie in colossal 300 Crore Club while Salman has 3 movies and Aamir has 2 movies. Despite no big hit in recent time, SRK still remains biggest Indian Actor. Chennai Express is also the highest grossing film of Rohit Shetty and Deepika Padukone.

Nonetheless, 2018 is going to be a prodigious year as the Khan trio are coming back with some of their stimulating flicks such as Race 3 (Salman Khan), Thugs of Hindustan (Aamir Khan) and Zero (Shahrukh Khan).

On Dhoni’s retirement, he said “That’s rubbish. MS is not going anywhere. But right now, all this clamour is nonsense. He wanted to show the ball to Arun to just have a look at it after close to 45 overs had been bowled”.

Sanju which is a biopic movie on controversial Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt has now made its way to the giant 300 Crore Club. Earlier the 300 Crore Club was ruled by Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. But this year two movies of two young Actors crossed the barrier and grossed over the colossal mark.

Ranveer Singh’s Padmaavat and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju now exists in the 300 Crore Club. The lifetime biz of Padmaavat is 302 Crore while Sanju is still running in theatres and might gross over 340 Crore depending the tendency.

There are a total of seven films in 300 Crore Club, PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai, Padmaavat, and Sanju. Salman Khan has three films while Aamir Khan has two films. Also, Rajkumar Hirani is the second director after Ali Abbas Zafar to own two 300 Crore films.

Sanju has done exceptionally well at the box office. Getting released on non-holiday and witnessing such an epic trend is very rare for a Hindi film. The movie has already grossed over 500 Crore at the global box office.

However, the wait is too see if it manages to beat Dangal (387 Crore) to emerge Highest Grossing Bollywood movie.
