Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat: Here’s How Salman Khan And Ali Abbas Zafar Has Become A Blockbuster Director-Actor Jodi

Salman Khan will work for 3rd time with Ali

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan director Ali Abbas Zafar has become India’s leading filmmaker after two blockbuster movies like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both the movie had Salman Khan in the lead and of course, both are highly acclaimed films.

Following their felicity, at the box office, the duo have collaborated on another promising film titled ‘Bharat’. Bharat will release on EID 2019. Salman Khan has been signed as the main lead and the film will be produced by Atul Agnihotri, Salman’s brother in law. T-series chairman Bhushan Kumar is the co-producer.

Bharat is inspired by South Korean Drama film ‘Ode To My Father’, the film was a major success. The shooting of the movie begins from April 2018 once Salman Khan is done with the release of his EID 2018 release Race 3.

Ali’s latest release Tiger Zinda Hai has become the highest grossing film of 2017 by grossing over 280 Crore in just 12 Days at the domestic box office. The movie will soon be the 3rd entrant of Salman Khan in the 300 Crore club and 2nd entrant of Ali Abbas Zafar. With two 300 Crore films, Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan are blockbuster Director-Actor Jodi of Bollywood. Their next Bharat looks promising it seems like the duo is working on another explosive venture.

Ali commenced his career as an Assitant Director. Following his ability, he directed two commercial success films Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday. Ali has directed a total number of 4 films and all the movies are produced by Yash Raj Films. ‘Bharat’ will be first ever project of Ali outside the YRF house.

On the other hand, Salman is busy shooting Remo D’souza’s Race 3 which releases this year. The movie stars Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Saquib Saleem.
