Shahrukh Khan: I never wanted to be a lover boy

Yesterday on Saturday 25th February, Shahrukh Khan was rewarded with Yash Chopra Memorial Award were the actor said that he never wanted to be a lover boy. Shahrukh Khan is being tilted as King of Romance but did you know he himself wasn’t confident of becoming a romantic hero.
Shahrukh Khan said I never wanted to be a lover boy, I am not very good. I don’t think I am good looking enough, I didn’t think that I was pretty enough to play a romantic hero but Yash ji kept me telling that my career won’t progress until I start doing romantic films.
Shahrukh Khan also feels that Yash Chopra helped him to become a star and he has single handedly created his career. Shahrukh Khan is the 4th person to receive Yash Chopra Memorial Award, before him Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeskar and Rekha bag the award.
