Shahid Kapoor On Padmavati: We Respect Whatever People Will Think But For That First Watch The Film

Shahid Kapoor urges to watch the film and then tell your opinion

Shahid Kapoor didn’t have that good phase in Bollywood but soon after the release of Padmavati he is going to revolutionize the chapter of his career. But for that the film need to be released first. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mammoth film Padmavati which is set to release on 1 December is into a huge trouble. Massive protest has broken out in several cities for staying the release of Padmavati.

Earlier Police arrested 5 people for destroying the huge rangoli of Deepika as Rani Padmavati and yesterday 15 people in Mumbai were arrested for the protest whereas thousands of people are continuing the protest in Gujarat. Previously, some aggressor illegally entered the sets and burnt all the property. No team member was present on the sets at that time. Fortunately, no injury was reported but the property which got damaged was worth Crore’s. If you remember, earlier in January this year a bunch of people attacked on the sets of Padmavati in Jaipur and they also molested director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Talking about same Shahid at GQ Fashion Night said that ‘we will respect whatever people will think about the film but you should see the film first. I’ve been saying this for a long time. Give it a chance don’t form inflexible notions’.

The movie stars Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati.
