Padmavati Row: Police Protection For Deepika Padukone’s Family In Bengaluru

State Government provides Police security to the Actress’s family in Bengaluru

Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone has been provided a special security team in the Padmavati row. Her family which stays in Bengaluru also has been provided police protection by State Government. Several assemblages have threatened physical harm to the Actress for her role of Rani Padmavati in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. In concern State government is making sure to keep her family away from harm.

Two police personnel have been assigned outside Deepika Padukone’s parents home in JC Nagar, (northern suburb)”, Bengaluru. Inspector Girish Naik of JC Nagar Police Station told IANS.

The Actress stays in Mumbai but she hails from Bengaluru where her father Prakash Padukone, mother Ujjala, sister Anisha and grandmother Ahilya reside. Prakash Padukone is a legendary Badminton Champion and also runs a badminton coaching academy in the city.

Haryana (BJP) leader Kunwar Surajpal Singh Ammu had offered a reward of Rs 10 Crore to anyone who would ‘behead’ Deepika and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film, which is based on the life of 13th century Indian queen Rani Padmavati.
