After Padmavati Even Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai Can Be Postponed

Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release on 22 December

Padmavati and Tiger Zinda Hai are two biggest Bollywood movies of the year. While Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release on 22 December, Padmavati was all set to hit the screens on 1 December but it is postponed. Yes, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is not releasing this year. It will probably release next year but the shocking news is that even Salman Khan’s film can be postponed and Kapil Sharma’s Firangi which is set to release on 24 November can be postponed.

We will tell you why according to the source, CBFC has used rule 41 of the Cinematograph Act in which it states that total time of a film to be censored is 68 days. There is a long process in these 68 days and if makers of Firangi, Padmavati and Tiger Zinda Hai follow the rule their film won’t get censored before January-February 2018. Even Padmavati got postponed due to lack of paper work. Around 250 films are submitted to CBFC which have to be censored in next two months out of which just 15-20 films are censored yet.

In the upcoming months Sidharth Malhotra’s Aiyaary and Akshay Kumar’ Padman are the biggest movies which are releasing on same date 26 January 2018.
