Now That Tiger Zinda Hai Is A Blockbuster, Salman Khan Promises Us To Give Part 3 To Tiger

Released in 2012, Ek Tha Tiger was prepared with no intention of such a big Bollywood franchise. Ek Tha Tiger was the highest grossing film of 2012 with a box office record of 198 Crore at the domestic market. 5 years later, a sequel named ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was announced and as soon as the sequel became a blockbuster, Tiger has emerged one of the most successful franchise after Dhoom.

Tiger Zinda Hai has grossed over 325* Crore and it is expected to have a lifetime collection of 335-340 Crore. The movie has also grossed over 500 Crore at the international box office. Now that Tiger Zinda Hai has become such a big hit, Salman Khan is planning the third part of the franchise.

In an interview, he said, “By the time Katrina is done with Thugs of Hindustan and I am done with Race 3, we may plan to do Tiger around the same time”. Tiger Zinda Hai released after 5 years of the first part but the third won’t take much time.

Katrina Kaif has a busy year as she has two big releases opposite two leading Actors, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan. She is playing the main female lead in Aamir’s ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ and SRK’s ‘Zero’. Both the movie releases this year.

Salman Khan too has a busy year as he is shooting for ‘Race 3’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and he will be seen playing the lead in ‘Bharat’ which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
