MS Dhoni Is Now Second Most Capped Cricketer For India After Sachin Tendulkar

There is no ending for MS Dhoni who has become second most capped cricketer for India. Dhoni played his 505th for India against Pakistan in Super Four match of the current Asia Cup 2018. He has surpassed Rahul Dravid to rank second. Sachin Tendulkar leads the chart with an astonishing 664 international caps for India, a record unlikely to be surpassed.

MS Dhoni retired from Test Cricket in 2014 after playing 90 Test Matches. He is presently India’s biggest asset in the ODI and T20 team. The wicket-keeper batsman is branded for understanding the game and helping skipper such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. He has won many matches with his knowledge and sharp cricket mind. Bowlers such as Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have revealed that MS Dhoni does the 50% work of a bowler by guiding them to pick up the wickets.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently grossed the glorious mark of 10,000+ runs in ODI format. He also won the 11th season of IPL for his team Chennai Super Kings. CSK has won three tournaments under his captaincy and has always made it to the finals. Dhoni was recently honored with Padma Bhushan which is the third highest civilian award of the Republic of India.

The two times World Cup and Champions Trophy Winning Captain is the only Captain in world Cricket to win all the three ICC tournaments. The hunger of winning all the major tournaments is still there in him as he is preparing for the ICC 2019 World Cup.
