Salman Khan the only Indian Actor with maximum entries in the 300 Crore Club

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan has become the only Indian Actor with maximum entries in the 300 Crore Club. His latest Tiger Zinda Hai has become the 3rd entrant in the club after Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman Khan has delivered three 300 Crore films in three consecutive years. Following his is only Aamir Khan who has two movies in the club, Dangal, and PK.

Tiger Zinda Hai is second fastest Bollywood film to touch the 300 Crore mark. 2016 film Dangal took 12 days while Tiger Zinda Hai took 16 Days to cross the landmark. The movie has also grossed over 500 Crore at the international box office.

Tiger Zinda Hai has been shot on several international locations such as Greece, Abu Dhabi, and Austria. The movie has been shot for 50 days in just Abu Dhabi which is highest for any Indian film.

Made on a whopping budget of 150 Crore, Tiger Zinda Hai is second most expensive Bollywood film produced by YRF (Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra) after Thugs Of Hindustan which stars Aamir Khan. The movie starring Katrina Kaif in the female lead has become highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2017.

The movie is a sequel to 2012 record-breaking blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger which was directed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan. However, the sequel is directed by Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar.

With two super successful installments, Tiger has become India’s leading franchise following Dhoom. Both the franchises are owned by Yash Raj Films.
