Esha Gupta Denies Friendship With Hardik Pandya, Slams Him For Racist Remarks On Women

Cricketers KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have landed themselves in huge trouble. Their open confession and racist remarks on women has outraged one and all. They had appeared on Koffee with Karan. The duo has risked their cricketing career as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended them for future matches and an inquiry is expected on them.

Just for a prompt thought, Karan Johar had mentioned Esha Gupta addressing her as Hardik’s one of the close friend.

However, in a recent discussion, Actress Esha Gupta denied any kind of link with Hardik Pandya when the journalist queried her. She held, “ Who is the one who told you (Hardik Pandya) is my friend?”

Esha Gupta also slammed the cricketer for his misogynist remarks. She said, “I do not think anyone should talk bad about any woman, if you think your family is not worried about it, then be it, but it is wrong on Humanity.”

She further added, “Firstly, women should not compare themselves with men. We are the best in every respect. I don’t want anyone to feel bad, but why don’t you give birth to a child? We suffer from periods five days every month and even then we have to dance, go to an office, and take care of the children. When you can do all this, you become superio.”

Hardik Pandya in his defense statement apologized and said that he got a bit carried away with the nature of the show.

In the meantime, Hotstar has pulled down the respective episode of the talk show.
