The Best Revenge Is Massive Success: Here’s How Alia Bhatt Handled Her First Major Failure Shaandaar

Alia Bhatt was heartbroken with Shaandaar’s collapse at the box office
The very gorgeous Alia Bhatt is that peculiar Actress who is marching on the same trail where Deepika Padukone walked once. Deepika Padukone in all probability is the biggest Indian Actress and Alia Bhatt who is just 24 is on the same track. Alia has delivered uninterrupted hits such as Kapoor And Sons, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and the recent blockbuster Badrinath Ki Dulhania. But there was a point in time when she was heartbroken following the major breakdown of Shaandaar.
Shaandaar starring Alia and Shahid Kapoor was the biggest flop of 2015. The movie was made up on a huge budget and even the recuperation sum was not composed at the box office. The major collapse of the movie intensely exaggerated Alia who was enjoying her success after delivering Student Of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, 2 States and Highway.
Alia in a recent statement said “touch wood, 90 per cent of my films fared at the box office. But there have been one failure, and because of that one failure, I am more calm… Some strange reasons. ‘Shaandaar’ didn’t work at the box office. I was heartbroken. I could not believe it, said Alia”.
“I turned to my father. He was the only person I was speaking to and then I went on a holiday solo to mourn the loss”.
She added “I felt terrible, but after that I felt ‘ho gaya’ (it’s done). The bandage has been ripped. I have faced my first failure, and I will be ready for whatever comes. Getting up after the failure is very different. My father sent me this poster with Frank Sinatra’s quote ‘The best revenge is massive success’.”
Currently Alia has established a powering and successful career in the Industry. She will be next seen in suspense drama Raazi which releases on May 11, 2018.
