5 Upcoming movies which are expected to break Dangal’s record

Aamir Khan’s Dangal has emerged to be the biggest blockbuster of India by collecting overall 387 Crore domestically. Dangal has also smashed the previous records of Baahubali 1, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and PK but as you know records are created to be broken. Here are the 5 upcoming films that might break Dangal’s record by grossing over 400 Crore domestically.

Tubelight: Salman Khan’s Tubelight is an upcoming historical action drama film based on the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Salman Khan’s last Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan grossed over 300 Crore domestically so there are many chances of Tubelight to gross over 400 Crore. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will be seen in a cameo appearance which increases the chances of Tubelight to break Dangal’s record. Tubelight is slated to release on this EID.

Baahubali 2: Baahubali 1 grossed almost 300 Crore domestically and it is first south film to do so. The sequel of Baahubali is set to release next month and it might break Dangal’s record by collecting overall 400+ Crore. The film stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in lead roles.

Secret Superstar: Aamir’s PK collected overall 340 Crore and became the biggest blockbuster of India. Later he himself smashed his record with Dangal and now it may sound weird but he himself can smash Dangal’s record with Secret Superstars. Secret Superstar is an upcoming drama film which stars Aamir Khan in the lead role. Secret Superstar is slated to release on this August.

2.0 (Robot 2): 2.0 is an upcoming science fiction film which stars Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role and it is a sequel to his blockbuster Robot starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. With the budget of 4 billion, 2.0 is the most expensive film and probably it might break Dangal’s record. 2.0 also stars Akshay Kumar and it is slated to release on this Diwali.

Tiger Zinda Hai: Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Salman Khan’s 2012 Ek Tha Tiger. The film stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Tiger Zinda Hai is said to gross 400 Crore following the grand success of EK Tha Tiger and according to Salman Khan’s brand value. The film is slated to release on this Christmas.
